COSTA RICA - Tamarindo / Flamingo
Tamarindo and nearby Flamingo are located at the southern end of the shallow, plankton rich Papagayo Gulf on the northwest Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The close proximity to the continental shelf makes for a very short run time to the fishing grounds. Expect to catch roosterfish, snapper, wahoo, grouper, amberjack, tuna, dorado, sailfish, marlin.

The 4 big tuna that we caught near the end of our day meant a delicious meal at Nogui's that night and then the rest made the trip safely home to both Washington, DC and Richmond, Virginia on Wednesday. COSTA RICA - Carrillo
Carrillo is located on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula and is well known for its large concentration of sailfish, marlin and yellowfin tuna. It is protected from the dry season winds that blow in the rest of Guanacaste and offers extremely calm waters. You can expect to catch tuna, dorado, sailfish, marlin.
