Aguila de Osa Inn
Among Drake Bay's delights is its remoteness and undeveloped, primitive state. Accessible only by boat, the Drake Bay area is free of roads, cars, and even electricity. The Inn supplies its own power.

Aguila de Osa Inn's rooms are nestled neatly into the surrounding hillside. Resting high above the water's edge, the rooms are open and spacious; with mesh windows to ensure a tropical breeze to pass through your room. All rooms feature large Italian tiled bathrooms, cathedral style ceilings, hot water, ceiling fans, 24 hour electricity, hand crafted decor, in addition to drinkable well water that is UV treated with a micro-filtered system.

The dining room is set in a tropical atmosphere with ocean views. The open-air restaurant, with seating for 36, serves as the ideal setting. Custom hand made furniture, using a variety of different local hard woods, have been crafted to ensure comfortable seating in an elegant surrounding.
The gourmet cuisine offers fresh seafood from the boats; pasta, sushi, vegetables and luscious tropical fruits.

Peak Seasons
August through December is peak season for marlin, but an occasional blue or black may be taken any month if the water temperature is right.

Sailfish are exceptional from December through April, then pick up again in August or September.

The best fishing for yellowfin tuna corresponds with marlin and sailfish season.

Dorado and wahoo run from late May through October.

The region has big roosterfish and they can be caught virtually any month of the year. Some weigh nearly 100 pounds but they average between 6 - 30 pounds.

Snook are almost all year round, but best from May through August and January though March.

The Aguila de Osa Inn is closed the month of October.
